Why is it important?

CART is a very useful treatment method for refractory ascites. However, it is difficult for many hospitals to employ this procedure due to its need for specialized equipment. To establish a more widely adoptable method of CART, we have developed the clinical technique of drop type with adjustable concentrator CART (DC-CART).

Perspectives

DC-CART can be performed in a wider range of health care institutions.
