What is it about?

In this ethnographic short story, I offer a fictionalized account of an anthropologist who marries one of her informants and finds her access to her research site irreparably damaged. The piece won first prize in the 2016 Society for Humanistic Anthropology's fiction and creative non-fiction contest.
