What is it about?

Many organisms produce a large amount of compounds with biological effects. Some of these compounds can have effects in the regulation of physiological processes in plants, like a plant hormones. We made this research for verified the biostimulatory effect of tryptophol in bean plants.

Why is it important?

Our results pointed that tryptophol have a stimulatory response on gas exchange and improve the root and shoot growth. Furthermore we believe that tryptophol can be used as a stimulant in agriculture.

Perspectives

I hope that this manuscript will promote further study of new Biostimulants molecules with potential use in agriculture.
