What is it about?

South Sudan voices in global development conversation mean that the world can hear what they say and they can leverage what the whole world collectively prioritize. We have therefore asked University Students, who are the future leaders, to have their say on which Sustainable Development Goals speak to the South Sudan they want.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that SDG 16, which is dedicated to the promotion of peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, the provision of access to justice for all, and building effective, accountable institutions at all levels.

Perspectives

Writing this article gave me the satisfaction that students see beyond the conflict and look towards a peaceful, inclusive and prosperous nation, with strong institutions that prioritize the interest of her citizens.
