Helmut Reisen (*1950), Professor emeritus at the Economics Faculty of Basel University (Switzerland) and Associate Fellow at the German Development Institute (DIE, Bonn), is a widely acknowledged analyst on development finance, multilateralism and international monetary economics. The long-time Head of Research of the OECD Development Centre runs Berlin-based ShiftingWealth Consult since 2012, which advises foundations, development banks and ministries on development finance and emerging markets.
