What is it about?

Chronic interstitial nephritis in SS can have various manifestations, including: distal renal tubular acidosis (RTA); proximal RTA; tubular proteinuria; and nephrogenic diabetes insipidus. Pathological fracture due to distal RTA as an initial presentation of SS is extremely rare.
