Why is it important?

This program is the first to describe sonographer educators collaborating with physicians to deliver POCUS education to positively impact patient care.

Perspectives

Ultrasound is a complex skill to acquire but is a valuable tool for clinicians. The clinical quality outcomes of this collaboration have been excellent. It is a challenge to all hospitals to consider collaborating between departments to share expertise for best patient care.
