Why is it important?

Knowing the international labour standards, the ratification of the ILO's conventions and situation of the decent work in Thailand will help correctly improve Thailand future labour practices.

Perspectives

Thailand is becoming the upper middle-income country but the practice of the labour standards is patchy. It needs various measurements of labour and human resource management reform in Thailand, and one among those measurements is the formal ratification of the ILO's labour standards.
