Why is it important?

Everyday Creativity is a good book on anthropology and folklore; it also has the folklorists' customary focus on the words rather than the sounds of the songs, which can be frustrating to those who want to know about the other musical aspects of the songs. But, it's great storytelling, and gives us a glimpse of the world of these women and how they use their songs to make their everyday worlds more beautiful.

Perspectives

This is a short book review; it's quite simple.
