It illustrates the issue of governing a country and that of maintaining and equal distribution of the wealth of a nation and how good governance couple with some degree of equality in the share of the national cake will yield overall benefits in economic development.

It ties with what God had in mind when he created the heavens and the earth, where humans share a a fundamental equality with one another, being created equally in God's image. If this notion was accepted and propelled by mankind, the world will be a peaceful place.

Thus, Paul having more loaves of bread to eat than anyone else should have the good mind to share with others and this applies to all individuals in the society.
