Why is it important?

Despite the increase in telehealth services across medical and rehabilitation disciplines, there is little research on the pedagogy for teaching this service delivery to emerging professionals. This research study offers some potential guidelines for teaching telehealth delivery in the discipline of speech-language pathology.

Perspectives

I hope this study encourages researchers in other disciplines to consider investigating effective pedagogy in the delivery of telehealth services. The results of this study highlighted for me that it should not be assumed that good teaching practices for face-to-face delivery of services are the same ones that should be used in teaching about telehealth delivery.
