Why is it important?

The study was completed in Australia and provided an opportunity for University based academic staff to engage with practice colleagues in a community of practice. One interesting finding was that both groups felt that engagement was beneficial to of value to the students undertaking the curriculum content. The practice scholars identified that opportunities for collaborative research were a natural progression for the community of practice partners.
