What is it about?
Subclasses and indices of IgG types may be important in the development of hemorrhagic dengue; as well as in the search for effective vaccines.

Why is it important?
The subclasses have different affinities for the IgG receptors in the target cells and therefore they can contribute to a greater or lesser extent to the antibody enhancement described in Dengue.
Perspectives
To evaluate the neutralization capacity of the IgG subclasses found in patients with febrile dengue and febrile hemorrhagic dengue, as well as to study the possible association of the nives of each subclass with the viral load or the susceptibility to develop dengue hemorrhagic fever.
