What is it about?
Due to the difference in the positive rate of tinea unguium dermatophytes between the examination under direct microscopy (lower) and Dermatophyte Test Strip method (higher), a possibility was raised that tinea unguium dermatophyte exhibited other forms than the conventionally acknowledged form.
