What is it about?
Blood and blood products are the major components in supplying the loss of blood from patients through different ways. We have shown the imbalance between the requested and supplied blood products over the past five years from 2013-2017.

Why is it important?
We define which part of the blood demanding reasons is mostly consuming more, and this study plays a role in organising a different approach for blood donation, and also in management of blood products among the developing countries.
Perspectives
I hope this article makes what people might think is a boring, slightly abstract area like blood product statistics. But blood donation is a life saving mechanism especially in this pandemic. I hope we enlighten the inadequacy of blood donations in Eritrea and also this goes around in most developing countries specially sub-saharan African countries.
