What is it about?
This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between social media addiction (SMA) and work engagement (WE) among nurses in Turkey.

Why is it important?
This study adds further empirical support for the link between social media addiction and work engagement. At the end of the study, it was determined that while the nurses' SMA levels were low, their WE levels were moderate. It was determined that there was a negative significant correlation between the SMA and WE variables and that SMA accounted for 2% of WE.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to create awareness about these topics for nurses.
