Why is it important?

Important issues emerged and were organised into themes: (a) enabling service access, (b) person‐centered support, (c) models of care, (d) community presence and participation, and (e) future aspirations for mental health services.

Perspectives

The study results inform and develops the understanding of the issues that impact upon the mental health and well‐being of lesbians. The implications for mental health practice are discussed.
