Why is it important?

Engagement is a positive work-related affective-cognitive-motivational mental state that implies a persistent, motivational, and social sense of achievement. Nurses with good levels of engagement will be more productive and will be able to achieve greater resolution in serving health users.

Perspectives

The study show that the city's PHC system stimulates nurses' engagement and capacity of performance, enhances team performance, and promotes quality of care and the effectiveness of care provided.
