What is it about?
Nurses are remembered for what they give to others, but it appears selfish if nurses prioritize themselves. Nurses care for others to the extent that nothing is left for them.

Why is it important?
To create awareness and provide intervention strategies to assist nurses in the importance of self-care practices.
Perspectives
As a nurse, no one holds me accountable for not practicing self-care. Moreover, it appears as if nurses are running on empty; the expectation is that nurses must cope and be strong despite the challenges the profession face or they on a personal level; this has become more evident during the Covid-19 pandemic, and nurses suffered from compassion fatigue.
