No cell is an island: characterising the leaf epidermis using epidermalmorph, a new R package

What is it about?

The leaf epidermis is variable and functional, but has complex links to both taxonomic identity and eco-physiology that are difficult to tease out. Here, we present a new way of characterising the variation in the epidermis that will help to unlock its full potential and provide an R package implementation.
