What is it about?
We define a novel class of effector proteins from white rust oomycete pathogen Albugo candida that infect a wide range of Brassicaceae plant species. These identified effectors are recognized by two broad spectrum resistance genes WRR4A and WRR4B. Some of the CCG effectors also contribute to enhanced susceptibility in other oomycete pathogen.
