What is it about?
Vulnerability to climate change is thought to be greatest at the warm edge of a species distribution, where environmental temperatures are hottest to begin with. We demonstrate that warm-edge populations of seagrass in the Mediterranean are more thermally tolerant than central populations living under cooler conditions and resultantly less sensitive to climate warming than previously thought.
