Optimising the use of gene expression data to predict plant metabolic pathway memberships

What is it about?

Plants produce diverse chemicals to defend themselves but the genes responsible for making them are frequently unclear. Using machine learning, we show that these genes in tomato can be predicted using gene expression data.
