Photosynthesis and crop productivity are enhanced by glucose‐functionalised carbon dots

What is it about?

Due to increased demand for food and loss of viable farmland there is an urgent need to increase the output per hectare of crop species. We demonstrate that it is possible to radically boost the output of bread wheat using nanomaterials which have been tailored to enhance photosynthetic efficiency.
