Far‐red radiation stimulates dry mass partitioning to fruits by increasing fruit sink strength in tomato

What is it about?

We discovered that additional far-red radiation (largely invisible to human eyes) makes the fruits more competitive in the distribution of daily produced sugars by photosynthesis. In this way, more sugars were transported to tomato fruits and increased the yield.
