What is it about?
Plant volatiles in different organs mediate different ecological interactions, which are often studied in isolation. Here we show that although volatiles involved in defence and pollinator attraction are primarily emitted from leaves and flowers, respectively, they show correlated variations in a wild tobacco due to pleiotropy and genetic linkage.
