When and where soil is important to modify the carbon and water economy of leaves

What is it about?

In the photosynthesis process, climate plays a decisive role in the diffusion of CO2 inside the leaf. We propose to increase the accuracy of this prediction by better identifying the role of soil in modulating the CO2 diffusion process, and thus improving vegetation models at global scale.
