What is it about?
Complex alpine environments create high biodiversity, whereas some lineages living in those environments exhibit low morphological diversity despite undergoing a long evolutionary process. By conducting RAD and plastome sequencing, our study provide new insights into the genetic structure and evolutionary history of a relictual alpine herb, advancing our understanding of drivers and mechanisms of adaptive evolution.
