Comparison of host susceptibilities to native and exotic pathogens provides evidence for pathogen‐imposed selection in forest trees

What is it about?

The extent to which pathogens influence how host resistance is distributed in wild plant populations is a subject of ongoing debate. We provide multiple lines of evidence that pathogen imposed selection has influenced the geographic pattern of resistance in two Australian tree species.
