Multiple mechanisms explain how reduced KRP expression increases leaf size of Arabidopsis thaliana

What is it about?

The involvement of the cell division cycle control mechanism in organ size control is still unclear. We show for the first time that removing multiple KRP cell cycle inhibitory proteins increases leaf size by stimulating cell division during leaf development, but also indirectly by causing seed abortion.
