Pan‐genome of cultivated pepper (Capsicum) and its use in gene presence–absence variation analyses

What is it about?

We constructed and annotated the first pepper pan-genome, built a website to allow researchers to browse and compare the differences between different pepper cultivars. We also tested a new way to group the cultivars based on their genetic information, and studied the association with some traits.
