The evolvability of animal-pollinated flowers: towards predicting adaptation to novel pollinator communities

What is it about?

Declines of animal pollinators and the ecosystem services they provide cause great concerns about the future of biodiversity. I show that plant populations often possess the necessary evolutionary potential to adapt to pollinator declines or to new pollinator species.
