What is it about?
We estimate the dispersal kernels of clonal propagules, gametes, and spores of the epiphytic lichen-forming ascomycete Lobaria pulmonaria. The effective dispersal range of gametes is several hundreds of meters to kilometres from potential paternal relatives. In contrast, clonal propagules disperse only tens of meters, and spores disperse over several thousands of meters.
