What is it about?

We collected all the studies about depressive symptoms of medical students and combined their results together. The results were further analyzed by different subgroups.

Why is it important?

The results were based on 162,450 students from 249 primary studies and is considered as the most comprehensive study.

Perspectives

The results suggested that there was geographical difference for the depressive symptoms which might be due to cultural variation.
