What is it about?

A detailed analysis of the medical literature in which quality of each study was ranked by conventional criteria. The study found that all research, when taken together, confirms there is no adverse effect of circumcision on sexual pleasure. If anything sex is better after circumcision. It also found that the various types of sexual dysfunction in men are similar in frequency between circumcised and uncircumcised men.

This is the first detailed systematic review of this topic. It dispels the false claims by opponents of male circumcision.

Perspectives

Men should have no concern about circumcision affecting their sex life. Parents can be reassured that getting their baby boy circumcised will not affect his sexual functioning or enjoyment of sex when he gets older.
