Why is it important?
The applied relaxation method has not before been studied on TMD pain in adults. We need a comparative and long-lasting treatment method for people who do not get pain relief from a traditional splint and exercise instructions.
Perspectives
Doing this study and writing this article was a great pleasure involving interesting debates with my co-authors. This article gave us the opportunity to share this information with other groups and teach people to cope with performance anxiety and exam distress while decreasing muscle tension in the whole body.
