Healthcare delivery has changed and continues to rapidly evolve and Advanced Practice forms part of the future of the delivery of flexible, affordable, safe, high quality patient care. It also provides a clear career development structure and may improve staff satisfaction.
Perspectives
A variety of titles, within many different clinical contexts has lead to confusion about the scope and competence required by practitioners working at an advanced level. The advanced practice framework provides structure and reassurance for patients, it is also an enabling tool to support current and future role development.
