Why is it important?

Our study findings provide basic information on the missing data in the literature on head height in providing optimal cerebral oxygenation in neurosurgery patients.

Perspectives

Our article refers to an important nursing initiative in shaping the treatment and care of special intensive care patients such as neurosurgery. We hope that it will support the understanding of the importance of close monitoring of cerebral parameters such as oxygenation with noninvasive methods in the follow-up of these patients.
