What is it about?
Pumpkin a commonly consumed vegetable in the world is loaded with nutrients which can play a positive role in human health. Peels and seeds which are discarded during consumption of pumpkin are excellent source of biologically active components so these must be used.

Why is it important?
All three parts peel, flesh and seeds of pumpkin are important due to nutrition point of view. We in this work explored the neglected parts of pumpkin.
Perspectives
It was a pleasant experience to write this article by me for the welfare of mankind especially the population with low and middle income countries can use this commonly found vegetable in their daily diet
