Why is it important?
We highlight specific human experiences in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic that makes it possible to understand the widespread impact of chronic inequities that have not been addressed properly over the years and call attention to the importance of a fair allocation approach that is essential for attaining sustainable interventions.
Perspectives
Writing this article gave an opportunity for teachers and students to work together on a project that showed the significance of what could have been merely a theoretical classroom exercise. Realizing the total relevance of a philosophy class to what was going on outside the classroom was gratifying for the entire team.
