What is it about?
Using the EQ-5D-5L health questionnaire suggests that British chronic sinusitis patients have a poor quality of life. The SF-12 questionnaire was less sensitive. The EQ-5D-5L is a quick and accessible method for assessing quality of life and can be compared with other diseases.

Why is it important?
There is evidence now that chronic sinusitis has a significant personal impact with regard to symptom severity, reduced vitality and loss of time from work with a wider impact on society because of this.
