What is it about?

Tuberculosis (TB) is a leading cause of death worldwide. Cholesterol plays an important role in TB infection. Enzymes involved in the cholesterol pathway in M. tuberculosis represent potential drug targets for antitubercular therapy development. This review summarises reported enzyme inhibitors targeting the cholesterol pathway.
