Ligaments suspend bladder bowel and uterus. The muscles which open and close the bladder and bowel pull against the ligaments. If they are loose the organs prolapse down . The muscles cannot close (incontinence) or open (empty) Strengthening the ligament with a tape cures prolapse and symptoms
