Staff are often required to calculate drug doses, and they use a variety of methods to do this. We investigated which method was the most accurate, and which was fastest.

Nomograms are considered 'old fashioned' and are seen as a way of estimating rather than calculating. This work demonstrates that they are actually more accurate than the other methods assessed.
