What is it about?
It's research involving two drugs such as DULOXETINE and GABAPENTIN. We compare the two drugs for the pain in diabetic neuropathy patient's. It is open label, randomized controlled trial. We compare the efficacy by evaluating pain scores. We found that two drugs are decrease the pain substantially with minimal side effects.

Why is it important?
As this is RCT, DULOXETINE and GABAPENTIN never compared head to head for painful diabetic neuropathy patients. So we found that both the drugs show comparable efficacy with minimal side effect profile.
Perspectives
As it is most diabetic neuropathy is most prevalent complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It decreases the quality of life. So in understanding with this we have done this trial. It's findings are interesting and more related to real world problems.
