What is it about?
Indigenous communities in highland Oaxaca are considered to be in the forefront of sustainable environmental management by strengthening their collective institutions for decision-making that privileges an integral relationship between social well-being and environmental balance. The case study explains their achievements as an alternative to the proponents of market-based "Green Economy" approaches.
