What is it about?

During a public health crisis, different social media platforms may play various roles because of their distinct features. For example, WeChat public accounts are capable of sharing long and full-length articles while Weibo shares short but instant information. WeChat shares more situational information such as notifications, caution and advice, and criticizing information, whereas Weibo shares more emotional support and help‐seeking information.
