What is it about?

While applauding the intent of the study by de Heredia-Torres and colleagues, I felt it was important to write my letter pointing out a few points for consideration by readers.

Why is it important?

When reading journal articles, the reader, who may not be up-to-date with all relevant literature in the field, hopes that the authors have cited the most up-to-date and best evidence that is available. They also hope that the study findings are based upon the selection of the most appropriate measurement tools and the use of best statistics. With respect to the study by de Heredia-Torres et al., I wanted to provide readers with some points to consider when synthesising the reported findings.
