What is it about?

The goal of this research is to assess whether EV substituting fossil fuel (LDV) in the city of Sao Paulo could impact in energy consumption and in CO2 emissions in 2030 scenario.

To know whether replace ICE vehicle by EV is a good option by environment and energy perspective.

Perspectives

Brazil produces and adopts ethanol on large scale. The country have potential to diffusion on EV as well, since the country's electricity is dominated by renewable energy. This study revel impact in energy system and in CO2 emission with diffusion of EV.
