What is it about?
Leadless cardiac pacemakers leave no room for antenna compromise: the link must penetrate tissue reliably at WMTS and ISM bands. We present an implantable MIMO antenna for leadless pacemaker systems covering both bands, with well-isolated elements in a capsule-sized volume to sustain a dependable telemetry and command link for life-critical communication.

Why is it important?
A pacemaker's wireless link is a lifeline. Dual-band MIMO isolation at this scale is how redundancy enters implant design without adding volume.
Perspectives
Knowing this antenna may one day sit inside someone's heart puts a healthy weight on every simulation we ran.
